ABA is an Canadian association whose goal is to unite the professional beauty industry. The ABA is most known for it’s popular Beauty Shows, held in five major Canadian cities each year. These shows bring together the major Canadian professional beauty industry suppliers and are the largest and most attended beauty trade shows in Canada.

When government regulation ceased in 2004, the industry created a voluntary association comprised of caring, driven and committed professionals who recognized a need for industry standards to be upheld. Today we continue to oversee the growth and development of training, certification, advocacy and events for Western Canada's beauty professionals.

The OPHA is an industry driven body that is passionate about maintaining the integrity of the hairstylist trade and promoting the interests of its members in Ontario.
