Accessing Downloaded eBooks in Digital Editions
To transfer already downloaded ebooks to another device (such as a Kindle or KOBO Reader):
- Open Adobe Digital Editions on your computer. The ebooks that you have downloaded should appear in your Bookshelf, in the main pane of the window.
- Plug your device into the computer. You should see the device listed in the side bar of Digital Editions.
- Drag the ebook from the Bookshelf and drop it into the device.
- The eBook should now be available in your device's Library.
To return an eBook before the loan period expires:
- Open Adobe Digital Editions on your computer.
- View your Bookshelf to see which eBooks are currently in your library.
- Right-click the eBook you want to return and choose "Return Borrowed Item".
- A message will pop up asking you to confirm, click "Return".
- The eBook should now be removed from your account.
Once the loan period for an eBook has passed, the item will no longer be accessible. You can then delete the book from your Adobe Digital Editions Library.
