Taking place from June 3 to June 21, the Compute Ontario Summer School offers a comprehensive curriculum packed with 40 courses. Delivered by experts in the field, these sessions cover a wide range of topics including Advanced Research Computing (ARC), High Performance Computing (HPC), Research Data Management (RDM), and Research Software (RS). A bilingual data management planning tool was developed to assist researchers in preparing DMPs. This tool is freely available to all researchers and develops a DMP through a series of key data management questions, supported by best-practice guidance and examples.

Since the introduction of the Government of Canada’s Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy (2021), Colleges and Small Institutions (CSI) have mobilized to develop and deliver Research Data Management (RDM) supports to their faculty, staff, and students. These educational modules have been developed by the Heads of Applied Research and the Ontario Colleges RDM Community of Practice to help CSI fill potential RDM knowledge gaps as they pertain to CSI and their unique circumstances.
