A projects section is a great space to showcase samples of work that you’ve completed either through your academics or independently. When choosing the projects and accompanying photos for your portfolio, make sure that they reflect the work and experience most related to the type of role you hope to attain. If you completed a project in class that you didn’t enjoy or that isn’t in the area of the industry you’d like to continue in, don’t include that project. Use this space to highlight only the projects most related to the career path you are aspiring to. For instance, if you enjoy the analysis and evaluation aspects of engineering over the design side then add projects related to your preferred skillset.
